When Congressman Tim Walberg was invited to a community town hall in Tecumseh on April 26, he didn’t show up. Instead of meeting with the 125 people who gathered to speak with him, he opted to tour a trout farm instead.

The people of Michigan’s 5th District deserve better.

That’s why Lenawee Indivisible is heading to Rep. Walberg’s Jackson office this Friday, May 9, 2025 at noon to deliver our questions and concerns from the town hall directly to him.

If our congressman won’t come to us, we’ll go to him.

📍 Where: 401 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI
🕛 When: Friday, May 9 at 12 p.m.
🚗 Carpools will leave from Adrian and Tecumseh around 11 a.m.

We’ll be hand-delivering messages from real people who attended the Tecumseh town hall—veterans, retirees, students, and working families who shared their stories and pressing concerns about jobs, healthcare, education, and the erosion of democratic norms.

Our ask is simple: Schedule a town hall that works for both Rep. Walberg and his constituents.

This isn’t a protest—it’s accountability. Show up with us and remind Rep. Walberg who he works for: the people of Michigan’s 5th District.
