On Saturday, millions of Americans took to the streets with a powerful message for Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and their enabling toadies.

No more looting, no more stealing, and no more billionaires raiding our government while working people struggle to survive. Keep your HANDS OFF:

  • Our healthcare and bodies
  • Social Security
  • Jobs and wallets
  • Libraries and museums
  • Voting rights
  • Immigrants
  • National parks
  • LGBTQ+ rights
  • Workers rights and unions
  • Veteran services
  • Public schools
  • Freedoms and democracy

Indivisible HQ and the other protest organizers anticipated hundreds of thousands of participants. What they got instead was a tidal wave of civic action.

At virtually every single event, the crowds shattered expectations.

It was the largest day of protest since Trump’s Inauguration—a stunning show of resistance across the country and around the globe!

Lenawee County Shouts “HANDS OFF!”

In Adrian, between 400 and 500 people gathered on the lawn and sidewalks around the Old Courthouse—one of the largest protest turnouts our community has seen in recent memory. Despite the cold, rainy weather, everyday people showed up, united by shared values, to deliver a clear message: “Enough is enough.”

And we weren’t alone.

Across red states, blue states, purple states, Washington, D.C., and U.S. territories, more than 1,300 protests took place. The message reverberated far beyond our borders—with solidarity marches in the United Kingdom, Portugal, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, and the Netherlands.

A Message to MAGA—and to Each Other

This administration has spent its first 75 days trying to wear us down. The strategy is familiar: overwhelm, confuse, divide—until people give up. Until we stop paying attention. Until we surrender.

But this weekend, we showed them something different.

We modeled the courage and action we need to see from our Congressional leaders.

And more importantly, we sent a message to the millions of Americans watching from the sidelines—the ones who feel shaken, hopeless, and afraid: you’re not alone.

The fight for our democracy isn’t over. It’s just getting started. And we need everyone’s help.

So What’s Next?
