That’s a cut of roughly 25% for the people who do grueling\, essential work that keeps our region’s farms running. \nThe Southeast Michigan Migrant Council has provided the following list of the most-needed items. Stop by our activity stations to: \n\nMake Vote Blue bracelets to wear and share\nWrite postcards to support his campaign\nPunch your own “Vote for Christian” pinback button\n\nCome ready to connect\, create\, and help get out the vote! Time with like-minded people is more important than ever. Let’s exchange ideas\, commiserate over the news\, and leave feeling recharged and ready for the work ahead as we prepare for the Midterms. Since we won’t be meeting in July\, this is a great opportunity to catch up with everyone—and a perfect time to bring a friend! \nThis event is kid friendly! We’ll be gathering at the Maple Pavilion at Island Park\, which has a playground right nearby\, so bring the whole family and let the kids play while you connect with fellow members. \nWe’ll be providing catered sandwiches from Downtown Dempsey’s; just bring your own side dish and drink. \nPlease register on Mobilize or RSVP via the Facebook event page (link coming soon) so we can get an accurate count for food.
