Ready to take meaningful action with friends? Come join the Postcard Posse, where civic engagement meets connection, conversation, and community.
We’re a group of local volunteers who believe that words matter—especially when they’re handwritten with intention. Whether you’ve never written a postcard or you’re already sending stacks every month, this is a welcoming space to take part in people-powered democracy.
Our next roundup will be on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to noon at Harvest Chocolate in Tecumseh, MI.

THIS Roundup’s PROJECT
At our last gathering, we wrote 140 postcards to help register voters in Virginia ahead of their important November gubernatorial election. Now, it’s time to finish the job!
At our next meetup, we’ll be adding voter-registration QR code stickers, stamps, and addresses—so we can get every single card in the mail and into voters’ hands.
Join us to help complete this vital mission!
WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO
Since January 2025, the Posse has been making waves around the country:
- Wisconsin Victory: We helped support Susan Crawford’s judicial win by reminding voters their Supreme Court shouldn’t be chosen by billionaires like Elon Musk—it should be chosen by them.
- Arizona Outreach: We sent voter registration reminders to Arizona residents, ensuring more people are ready to cast their ballots in critical upcoming elections.
- SignalGate Action: We mailed every U.S. Senator, urging them to hold Secretary Pete Hegseth accountable after the national security breach involving the Signal app.
Postcards may be small, but they carry big messages—and momentum.
WHAT TO BRING
- Pens or markers
- Blank postcards
- Postcard stamps
New to postcarding? No worries! We’ll have guidance, ideas, and examples to help you get started.
Already working on a postcarding project? Bring it along—we love collaboration and cross-pollination.
This is a space to connect with like-minded folks, laugh, share, vent, and remind each other why we keep showing up. Plus: chocolate!
A BIG THANK YOU TO HARVEST CHOCOLATE
