Nationwide Demonstration

This event is part of a coordinated national day of action. Here’s how you can participate:

No school or work — If you can’t call out, talk about it. Amplify the conversation about how this administration has made life harder for middle- and lower-class people.

No shopping — This is essential. A national strike will only succeed if significant numbers of us commit. Think of this as a test run before launching a full national strike!

Our Demands

  • People Over Billionaires / Tax the Rich: Our families, not their fortunes, come first.
  • ICE Out: No secret army serving authoritarian power.
  • Expand democracy, not corporate power: Defend free and fair elections, not a rigged disaster.

Celebrate & Support Small Biz

At 5:30 PM, we’ll head downtown to shop, eat, and drink at local, supportive businesses during Adrian’s First Friday.

A core principle behind all Lenawee Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation and to act lawfully.
